What are Clean Deals
When projects are submitted with clean deal requirements met, realization is drastically improved, and manual labor is reduced, creating cost efficiencies that benefit all parties. Clean deals have less delays, which reduce the number of cancels.
Clean Deal Bonus
Clean deal bonus is applicable for projects below 50% realization rate. All projects are on Freedom Advantage, which is a project managment service. All projects below the 50% realization rate cost $0.05/ W up to the max $750. If you are under this 50% realization rate, then you can still waive the Freedom Advantage costs if you submit clean deals
The Clean Deal Bonus will be based on the initial reviews of the project. Needs for the items associated with the bonus later in the process will not retroactively impact the bonus. For example, if the Interconnection team finds that a utility bill is too old once it comes time to submit for interconnection, the Clean Deal Bonus would still be earned as long as the Utility Bill was accepted during the initial scrub, assuming all other requirements were also met.
Sales Representatives will be eligible to earn a Clean Deal bonus of $0.05/ W and waive the max $750 on each project making the service free for all clean sales
The Clean Deal Bonus will be credited as a negative adder on a project’s Scope of Work.
Negative adders increase a project's Net PPW which in turn increases the commissions earned on a project.
Clean Deal Requirements
On each project, the following conditions must be met to earn the Clean Deal Bonus:
Utility Bill: a current utility bill must be submitted and approved by Freedom’s Account Management team during the Initial Account Review task.
IL ABP Disclosure Form: for projects in IL only, an ABP Disclosure Form must be completed, signed by the correct individuals and approved by Freedom’s Account Management team during the Initial Account Review task. Learn more about ABP form
First Time Finance Submission: Freedom Forever’s Renewable Finance team must be able to submit for financing approval (e.g. Mosaic Countersignature, Sunrun Approval) upon the first review and submission attempt.
First Time Finance Approval: the financing approval (e.g. Mosaic Countersignature, Sunrun Approval) must be granted on the first submission attempt.
Additional Rules for Clean Deals
First Time Finance Submission will be reviewed no earlier than 24 hours after the project has been submitted.
ID Requirements will not be Clean Deal - Fails for First Time Approval, as long as the ticket created for the ID is resolved by the Sales Rep

Clean Deal Status in Portal
There is a "Clean Deal" section on the projects tab. This section will show the status of each individual requirement as well as the Clean Deal Bonus.
A green check on the Clean Deal line indicates that the bonus has been earned
A red X indicates that the bonus has not been earned
Bonus for Clean Deals
The Freedom Advantage program is free on all deals that are submitted as a clean deal.
