Login Issues
1. Check Credentials:
- Ensure the username and password are correct.
- Confirm that caps lock is not enabled while typing.
2. Reset Password:
- Use the "Forgot Password" option to reset your password via email.
3. Check Internet Connection:
- Verify if your device is connected to a stable Wi-Fi or cellular network.
- Test the connection by opening a browser and accessing a website.
4. App Version:
- Ensure the app is up-to-date by checking the app store for updates.
5. Reinstall the App:
- Uninstall and reinstall the app if the issue persists.
6. Report an Issue:
- If none of the above steps work, escalate the issue by going to settings and clicking
‘Report an Issue’.
App Freezing or Crashing
1. Restart the App:
- Close the app completely and relaunch it.
2. Check Device Storage:
- Ensure your device has sufficient storage space available.
- Clear out unused files or apps to free up memory.
3. Check for App Updates:
- Go to the app store and check if an update is available.
4. Restart the Device:
- Turn your phone or tablet off and on again to reset its system.
5. Update Device Operating System:
- Check if your device’s operating system is up-to-date. An outdated OS can cause app
compatibility issues.
6. Reinstall the App:
- Uninstall and reinstall the app to ensure a fresh version.
Inaccurate Data / Minor Bugs
1. Clear Cache:
- Go to settings, clear the cache, and restart the app.
Missing Team Members (for managers)
1. Check the Manage Dealer tab in LIGHTSPEED:
- Ensure the correct rep is listed as a sales representative or appointment setter
under the correct team.
2. Check the User Preferences:
- Ensure that the primary or secondary teams are set
3. Clear Cache:
- Go to settings, clear the cache, and restart the app.
4. Log Out:
- Log out of the Volt app and log back in to push changes into effect.
