Baseline Reductions
Sunrun baselines have been lowered by at least $.10/W in Arizona, California and Texas! Also, the base module is changing for certain financiers in Arizona and Maryland.

Sunrun will be available for customers in Central Maine Power (CMP)
Multi-factor Authentication Requirement for Sales Apps:
Effective Wednesday, November 13, 2024, Sunrun will be implementing a Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) for accessing all Sunrun sales applications, adding a critical layer of security by requiring users to provide more than one form of authentication to access your account. Users can opt to connect to the Salesforce Authenticator app or other options such as Okta Verify, 1Password, Authy, or Google Authenticator.
What to expect:
1. First Login: You will be prompted to set up an authenticator application with your account.
a. 2 word phrase
2. Second Login & Beyond: Enter your username and password, then enter the code from the authenticator app OR approve the push notification from the authenticator app of your choice.
3. Expired Authentication: You will be required to log in again to ensure security every 8 hours unless your session is terminated.
Sunrun appreciates your understanding and participation in implementing this important change. Together, we are working to reduce the risk of unauthorized access and safeguarding our information from cyber threats.

Updated Base Module
Effective September 21st, the QCells 410W will be the base module for all finance types in all markets.

Starting September 12th, the Tesla Powerwall 3 is now available for Sunrun projects! This exciting storage product is available with Sunrun’s BrightBox solar + backup product - and is offered at reduced pricing in AZ and CA!
Please note that this does not apply to Puerto Rico, where the Powerwall+ will still be the product used. However, we expect the TPW3 to be available in Puerto Rico in the coming months. Further updates will be sent when available.

Sunrun has made the decision to increase the thresholds for a second battery in California IOU utilities (SCE, PGE, SDGE). After review of post NEM in CA, Sunrun has adjusted the thresholds to the levels shown below to support sales efforts while ensuring our customers are receiving a system that maximizes the value of their energy produced.
The new values will apply to change orders from existing signed agreements and new agreements moving forward.

Generic Domains
Sunrun is changing their policy on generic domains and access. If you use a Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, Outlook, AOL, iCloud, or other type of generic domain, your access will be turned off. See full list of not acceptable domains
Sunrun will begin to deactivate all Users on July 14, 2024 who do not meet this new requirement.
All new accounts that need Sunrun access going forward will be required to have a custom domain.

New base modules for Sunrun!
Effective tomorrow, June 22nd, the Jinko 380W will be the base module for all Sunrun projects at no adder! Freedom Forever is pleased to make this announcement and will once again offer a base module at no adder after many months of continued improvement in the US solar panel supply chain.
The Canadian 395W will still be available for Sunrun projects at the same adder as before.
Sunrun Pricing Improvements
Effective immediately, Sunrun has improved its pricing in FL by an average of $.20/W! This means that for any given rate and escalator, the gross price paid to Freedom Forever (and, in turn, you) will be $.20/W higher than before. This is a major improvement that empowers Freedom Forever and its Independent Authorized Dealers to be more competitive in the market and pass along even greater value to our mutual customers.
